Τhe Corinth Canal

At the Corinth Canal it is not enough to just look from above. The most impressive way is to cross it by small boat through the channel. The passage takes less than an hour, but being between the high vertical rock walls gives a real sense of the scale of the project. A short experience that easily fits into a stop on the way to or from the Peloponnese.

Τον Ισθμό της Κορίνθου δεν αρκεί να τον δεις μόνο από ψηλά. Ο πιο εντυπωσιακός τρόπος είναι να τον διασχίσεις με μικρό καραβάκι, μέσα στο κανάλι. Η διαδρομή διαρκεί περίπου μια ώρα και όταν βρίσκεσαι ανάμεσα στα ψηλά κάθετα βράχια καταλαβαίνεις πραγματικά το μέγεθος του έργου. Είναι μια σύντομη εμπειρία που συνδυάζεται εύκολα με στάση καθ’ οδόν προς ή από την Πελοπόννησο.
