Lykavittos, Athens – Λυκαβηττός

It is the most well-known hill of Athens. Featuring the church of St. George on his top is accessible by a lift. It’s the second highest point within the Attic basin that Athens is built. On Lykavittos you may also find the theater with the very same name, a modern open round amphitheater. The view from the top of Lykavittos is one to amaze.

Πασίγνωστος λόφος της Αθήνας. Στην κορυφή του βρίσκεται ο ιερός ναός του Αγίου Γεωργίου, ενώ υπάρχει και τελεφερίκ. Αποτελεί το δεύτερο ψηλότερο σημείο του λεκανοπεδίου της Αττικής. Πάνω στο Λόφο υπάρχει και το Θέατρο του Λυκαβηττού, ένα σύγχρονο ανοιχτό αμφιθέατρο. Η θέα από εκεί ψηλά είναι πραγματικά φανταστική!
